HBO has received 107 Primetime Emmy® nominations

HBO has received 107 Primetime Emmy® nominations, with WATCHMEN leading all series with the most nominations with 26, including Best Limited Series. This is the tenth consecutive year in which HBO receives 100 or more nominations. The announcement was made today from Los Angeles.

Also highlighted was the drama series SUCCESSION, which tied for most-nominated drama series with 18 nominations, among them Best Drama Series. WESTWORLD was recognized with 11 nominations, while LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER and INSECURE received nine and eight, respectively.  

EUPHORIA received six nominations, including Best Actress in a Drama Series for Zendaya; while BIG LITTLE LIES was recognized with five, including two in the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Laura Dern and Meryl Streep. HBO Films’ BAD EDUCATION also took home two nominations for Best Movie for Television and Best Actor in Limited Series or TV Movie for Hugh Jackman.

Other HBO titles that were nominated include CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE, THE OUTSIDER, THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA and the documentary MCMILLION$.

The winners of the 72nd annual Primetime Emmy® Awards will be announced on September 20th.
