MIAMI, FL., SEPTEMBER 18, 2024 – This month, Max and Cartoon Network dive into an underwater adventure with the premiere of the new animated series BIG BLUE on September 27 at 7:00 PM.

The series follows the adventures of two siblings and their crew as they explore the depths of the ocean, protect its inhabitants, and face family challenges, all while taking on the added responsibility of caring for a magical baby who might hold the secret to saving the world.

The story centers on Lettie, the fearless captain, and her brother Lemo, a scientist, who welcome the tiny – and super-powered – Bacon Berry into their family. From onboard tasks to underwater mysteries, BIG BLUE navigates exciting discoveries, lessons about the importance of family, and plenty of laughs.

Meet the characters:

Lettie: The confident and charismatic captain who’s always in search of the next big adventure. Throughout the series, her leadership skills grow as she learns the true value of family and teamwork.

Lemo: A curious scientist with a huge appetite for knowledge, he’s always willing to take risks to make a new discovery.

Bacon Berry: Though she may seem like just a baby, she possesses incredible water-based powers that manifest according to her emotions. As the series progresses, she begins to learn how to control these abilities and her role in the fight against dark forces.

The Crew: Onboard are Phil, the doctor who constantly panics about the ocean’s conditions but keeps everyone in line with his zeal, and Freddie, the turtle engineer who, despite being laid-back, is always alert, balancing the chaos with his calm demeanor.

With 52 episodes of 11 minutes each, BIG BLUE arrives on Max and Cartoon Network on September 27 at 7:00 PM. On linear TV, a new animated episode will premiere Monday through Friday, and starting September 30, the show will air at 7:30 PM.
