The animation brings the neighborhood friend face-to-face in a standoff between being a hero or saving everyone he loves
Brooklyn's friendliest Spider-Man will bring the entire Spider-Verse to HBO Max with the arrival of "SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE". The film is the sequel to the acclaimed Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), and will be available on the platform on Friday, November 3, to take audiences on the new adventure of the world's best-known web-head.
In this new chapter, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is back on screen for a new mission. While dealing with his agitated new life as a superhero, Miles ends up being transported to a multiverse where he encounters several Spider-Men from different dimensions. Together with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) and a new crew of Spider-People who must protect their own existence, the hero embarks on an epic adventure.
But when the spider-heroes collide over how to deal with a new threat under their noses, everything changes and Miles finds himself at a dead end. Now, as well as facing a powerful villain like the world has never seen before, Miles must redefine what it means to carry the mantle of Spider-Man if he wants the chance to save everyone he loves.
With Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and Oscar Isaac in the main voice cast, the film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin Thompson, and scripted by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham.
The arrival of "SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE" reinforces HBO Max's content focused on the beloved animated superheroes.
