São Paulo, September 22, 2020 – PATRIA, the new original production from HBO Europe realized with the participation of HBO Latin America, premieres on September 27th at 9:00 p.m on HBO and HBO GO. The Spanish miniseries has eight episodes, is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Fernando Aramburu and takes place over three decades in Euskadi (Basque Country) in Spain.

At the same time, everyone will have to deal with the grief and the moral contradictions as life runs its course, putting new elements on the path that will affect the future.
PATRIA was written and created by Aitor Gabilondo and directed by Felix Viscarret and Óscar Pedraza. The executive producers are Miguel Salvat, Steve Matthews and Antony Root, from HBO Europe. Production is by Alea Media for HBO Europe, with the participation of HBO Latin America.
